the protection of your personal data is very important to me. i therefore process your data exclusively in compliance with the legal regulations (dsgvo, tkg 2003). you have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection, insofar as this does not conflict with a statutory retention obligation. if you believe that the processing of your data violates data-protection laws or your data-protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, please contact me. you can also file a complaint with the regulatory authorities. in austria, this is the data protection authority.
i provide you information here about the most important aspects of data processing within my website:
access data/log files
i (or my webspace provider) collect data about all access to our website (so-called server log files). the access data includes: name of the retrieved webpage, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer url (the previously visited page), ip address and the requesting provider.
i use the log files only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, safety and optimisation of our website. however, i reserve the right to retrospectively check the log files if, on the basis of specific evidence, legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.
cookies
our website uses so-called cookies. they are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. they do no harm. we use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. they allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
third-party cookies from google are also used on our website. these third parties may theoretically set cookies while you are visiting our website, for example, to obtain information that you have accessed our website.
if you do not want this to happen, you can set your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and allows you to grant permission for cookies to be set in individual cases. disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website. to find out how to do this in a particular browser, you can use the browser’s built-in help function or alternatively visit www.aboutcookies.org . this site explains step by step how to manage and delete cookies in most popular browsers. alternatively, we recommend using a browser plugin such as www.ghostery.com to monitor or block tracking cookies.
web analytics with google analytics
we use google analytics, a web analytics service provided by google inc. (“google”). google uses cookies. information generated by the cookie about the use of the online website by the user is usually transmitted to a google server in the usa and stored there. google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online website by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online website and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online website and internet usage. in this case, pseudonymous user profiles of the processed data can be created.
we only use google analytics with activated ip anonymisation. this means that the ip address of the users will be shortened by google within member states of the european union or in other contracting states of the agreement on the european economic area. only in exceptional cases will the full ip address be sent to a google server in the us and shortened there. the ip address submitted by the user’s browser will not be merged with other data by google.
users can prevent the setting of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly. users may also prevent the collection by google of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online website and the processing of such data by google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
for more information about google’s use of data, setting and opt-out options, please visit google’s websites: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ (“how google uses your data when you use our partner’s sites or apps”), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads (“data use for advertising purposes”), http://www.google.de/settings/ads (“manage information that google uses to show you advertising”) and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/ (“determine what advertising google shows you”).
the relationship with the web analytics provider is based on standard contractual clauses/a decision of the european commission (“privacy shield”).
the data processing takes place on the basis of the legal regulations of § 96 para. 3 tkg as well as the art. 6 para. 1 a) (consent) and/or f) (legitimate interest) of the dsgvo. our interest in the sense of the dsgvo (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. user data is stored for a period of 26 months (as currently configured by default with google)
the easiest way to monitor and/or prevent the tracking of your visit is to use a browser plug-in, such as https://www.ghostery.com/.
